With gratitude to God, Palavra Alegre Radio begins 2026 celebrating its anniversary, ongoing Bible programs, promotion winners, and messages that reach listeners around the world.
Another year begins, and with it, great expectations. God has greatly blessed us throughout all these years, and our prayer is that 2026 will be an even more rewarding year, all for His honor and glory.
I am truly grateful for everything God has provided us this past year, especially for the joyful moments surrounding the 7th anniversary promotion of Palavra Alegre Radio.
We are pleased to announce the winners of our anniversary celebration:
Cridinei Gabriel – winner of the book Vislumbrando Sua Glória (Glimpsing His Glory) by Lou Seckler
Flora Ederson – winner of a Bible
Marly França, from Conselheiro Lafaiete – winner of the much-desired radio receiver
Our regular programming continues with the series The Beatitudes, by Allen Dutton Jr., based on Matthew chapter 5. This series airs every weekday, Monday through Friday, bringing biblical depth and practical reflection.
On Sundays, we also continue our series of reflections on the Lord’s Supper, based on the book Messages for the Lord’s Supper, along with other recorded messages by the same author.
We have resumed recordings of Encounters with Jesus, by Gayle Crowe, a series that offers practical examples of how to apply Christ’s teachings in everyday life.
Another series we continue to record is Lesson Prayer and Prayers, sent by Andy Baker, featuring a brief reflection followed by prayer.
On Sundays, we also offer Bible studies for children led by Beliza Patricia. This month’s theme is vacation time, as January is the school vacation month in Brazil.
On Saturdays, we continue with a special program dedicated to shortwave radio, hosted by Danilo Nonato, with participation from Antônio Ribeiro da Mota. In January, we are featuring historical audio recordings from a very old federal radio program called A Voz do Brasil (The Voice of Brazil).
We continue to respond to contacts received from many parts of Brazil and around the world. I would like to highlight two special messages received at the end of December.
Listener Jawahar Almeida, a sailor in the merchant navy, wrote to us from Goa, sharing his love for radio, his time visiting Brazil, and his appreciation for our programming.
We also received a message from Professor Carlos Armando Ávila, from Mendoza, expressing gratitude for receiving the QSL card and sharing that he will use it to encourage his students to listen to the radio.
Finally, I wish everyone a 2026 filled with peace and joy in Christ. May this new year bring us even closer to God and to His love.
God bless you all.
