Another special month is over and with that many good events took place. After 2 years of not being able to have our Annual Dinner and Lunch in Franklin, TN because of the corona virus pandemic, this year was really unique because we had several guests on this very special day for all of us.
During the month of April we received contacts from new listeners among them; Sanzer Caldas from Belo Horizonte and he wrote to us sharing the beginning on radio listen.
Well, in short, during pandemic there wasn’t much to do at home. Then I decided to buy a radio and started researching about short waves. I enjoyed the thing and today I have a small collection. I follow some pages and channels on YouTube on the subject, but I still haven’t had time to study more and take the Anatel test. For now my hobby is restricted to short and medium waves.
I learned the importance of radio and today I highly value those who dedicate themselves to this important communication tool.
Sanzer Caldas also asked us to send him a QSL card and also Bible studies and these have already been sent to him. We are awaiting the return of his lessons. We also offer him a personal online study, just like we are doing with Renato and Italo, but for now he preferred correspondence Bible studies.
Good news is that now in May we will do a Live on financial management on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube. We will also record a series to use in our daily broadcasts. Who will help me in this project will be Nathan Zinck, missionary in Rio de Janeiro, he developed very useful content for this purpose.
The Bible tells us a lot about this topic and I really like Luke 14:28-30 which says:
So don’t follow me without considering what it will cost you. For who would construct a house before first sitting down to estimate the cost to complete it? Otherwise he may lay the foundation and not be able to finish. The neighbors will ridicule him, saying, ‘Look at him! He started to build but couldn’t complete it!
Another good news is that since April 18 we have another hour of programming. Previously we had an hour of programming at 21 Utc on frequency 9765 and now we can also count on the new hour which is at 22 Utc on the same frequency 9765. I am really happy that we can have more time to spread the Word of God.
